Returns & Refund Policy
At BoerboelPuppy.com, we value our families and stand behind the quality of our Boerboels. Because the purchase of a living animal is a serious, long-term commitment, our return and refund policies are carefully designed to protect both our puppies and our customers.
Puppy Sales Are Final
- All puppy sales are final. Once a puppy leaves our care, it cannot be returned for a refund.
- This policy is in place for the health and safety of our puppies—we cannot risk exposing them to outside environments and then reintroducing them to our program.
Health Guarantee
- Every puppy is sold with a written health guarantee.
- If a licensed veterinarian finds a serious, life-threatening genetic defect within the guarantee period, we will provide one of the following options:
- A replacement puppy of equal value (when available).
- A credit toward a future litter.
Deposits & Reservations
- All deposits to reserve a puppy are non-refundable but are transferable to another litter within 12 months.
- If the specific puppy you reserved becomes unavailable due to breeder decision or unforeseen circumstance, your deposit will be applied to the next available litter of your choice.
Owner Responsibility
- Buyers are responsible for proper nutrition, vet care, housing, and training.
- We do not refund or replace puppies that develop issues due to neglect, poor care, accidents, or owner error.
Returns in Extreme Cases
- While we do not accept returns for refund, we care about every puppy we place.
- If at any point you are unable to keep your Boerboel, we ask that you contact us first. We will assist in rehoming or, if possible, accept the puppy back into our program.
- In such cases, no refund will be given, but this ensures the puppy’s well-being and responsible placement.
